The HDPE pipes market is predicted to rise by USD 6.25 billion between 2022 and 2027, with a CAGR of 5.90%.
Pipes made of high-density polyethylene are referred to as HDPE pipes (HDPE). They are also known as thermoplastic pipes at times. HDPE pipes are flexible plastic pipes that are used for a variety of applications including rural irrigation, gas mains, water mains, slurry transfer lines, drainage system pipelines, electrical and communication system conduits, and so on. HDPE pipes are also used to supply drinking water. Water scarcity is affecting local economies and community living standards in many countries around the world. Governments are launching initiatives to improve their wastewater infrastructure and drinking water systems, which will undoubtedly drive the growth of HDPE pipes in the coming years.
The HDPE pipes market is expected to expand due to the ongoing demand for water infrastructure in all developing regions. As developing countries work aggressively to develop their sewage systems, the demand for HDPE pipes has increased. HDPE pipes have several advantages, including their lightweight, long lifecycle, flexibility, resistance to corrosion, and leak-free coverage. Furthermore, the development of sewage removal infrastructure is expected to have a significant impact on the development of the HDPE pipes market.
The increase in demand for HDPE pipes in various industries such as oil and gas, chemicals, and even agriculture is driving the growth of the HDPE Pipes Market. Furthermore, HDPE pipes are created from a synthetic polymer that is isolated from petroleum and is also utilized in the manufacturing of water pipes, corrosion-resistant piping solutions, and plastic bottles.
The global HDPE pipe includes the identification and analysis of the various market participants competing in the global market. Prominent competitors include JM Eagle, Chevron Phillips Chemical, Aliaxis, WL Plastics, Jain Irrigation Systems, Pipelife International, Nandi, Blue Diamond Industries, National Pipe & Plastics, Kubota ChemiX, FLO-TEK, Olayan, Pexmart, Godavari Polymers, LESSO, Cangzhou Mingzhu, Junx and others.
PPI honors the best pipe projects | JM Eagle’s Project is one of them
July 2021—PPI members have chosen a Project of the Year in the divisions of building and construction, drainage, energy piping systems, municipal/industrial, and power and communications for more than ten years.
The largest of the winning projects, scheduled for completion in 2021, is a $62 million redundant force main that transports wastewater from a Florida lift station to the G.T. Lohmeyer Wastewater Treatment Plant, which serves the Fort Lauderdale area. The new force main is made of 54-inch high-density polyethylene pipe from JM Eagle in Los Angeles and Agru America in Georgetown, South Carolina. According to Plastics News' most recent ranking, JM Eagle is the No. 1 pipe, profile, and tubing extruder in North America, with estimated sales of $3.14 billion.
