May 19, 2021- Bivacor, which is developing an artificial heart medical device, announced the $19 million in Series B funding on May 19. The Series B raise was led by Boston-based Cormorant Asset Management and Australian venture capital firm OneVentures. Additionally, Bivacor has received $3 million in Small Business Innovation Research grant funding from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute at the U.S. National Institute of Health.
