(NYSE: CMI) announced the opening of a new Powertrain Test Facility at its Darlington, UK, campus to help accelerate the transition to cleaner, next-generation power technologies aimed at lowering greenhouse gas emissions and improving air quality. The groundwork for the new facility has begun, with the first phase of the £14 million investment expected to begin operations in May 2023.



Linde signs a long-term contract with BASF in France.



8 February 2022 - Linde (NYSE: LIN; FWB: LIN) announced a long-term agreement for the supply of hydrogen and steam with BASF, one of the world's largest chemical companies.



Linde will design, construct, own, and operate a new hydrogen production facility in Chalampé, France, effectively doubling the company's current capacity in the Chalampé chemical park. This second plant will supply BASF's new hexamethylenediamine (HMD) manufacturing facility as well as help Linde's local merchant customers meet rising hydrogen demand. The plant is scheduled to come online in the first half of 2024.
