The veterinary clostridium vaccine market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 15.5% in the above-mentioned forecast period (2022 - 2027).
Clostridium vaccinations are commonly offered to animals such as sheep and others to prevent a variety of clostridial infections. The bacteria that cause clostridial infections are found in many different places in nature, including soil, sewage, water, and animal stomachs. The bacteria may frequently reside in the same habitat as the diseased animal. Among other animals, ovine, bovine, equine, porcine, and poultry are affected by clostridial diseases. Tetanus, black leg, malignant edema, black illness, botulism, and pulpy kidney are a few instances of clostridial diseases. Clostridial illnesses can cause quick death with or without gut symptoms such stomach pain and diarrhea, abrupt death with swollen legs and heads, and neurological symptoms. Changes from substandard to good feed, a lack of veterinary care after surgeries like castration, tail docking, wound treatment, and cleaning, stress, and animals consuming contaminated bones and decaying carcasses are some of the causes that contribute to clostridial infections. Veterinary clostridium vaccinations are particularly crucial since clostridial illnesses may only be avoided through immunization and are sometimes lethal to animals when they are advanced. It is projected that these trends would contribute to the market for veterinary clostridium vaccines expanding favorably.
